When did I start on sketching?

I still remembered how great the experience was when I picked up a color pencil to sketch my first drawing. I liked to read story books, and I could imagine the scene in my little brain and draw them since  three years old. From then on, I really enjoyed with hand sketching the world of my imagination. In other words, my toys were colors, pencils, and sketches. Since then, I have never stop sketching during leisure time as it embeds within my lifestyle.

Two years ago I began to try a new digital illustration; It took me some time to practice until I felt comfortable for sketching on the iPad, Adobe illustrator, and Photoshop. Once I got enough experience to adapt this new technology, I found this tool very powerful, and handy to play with.

ABOUT THIS PRACTICE IDEA

I thought an idea to keep my brain flourished with ideas and inspirations, so I brainstormed and wrote down some random topics that I thought was interesting, and placed into an "idea box." I sketched 3 to 4 drawings out and tried to create stories that were related to the topic. I practiced this for a few months, and I exchanged my ideas with friends and coworkers. Eventually, they found this interesting and started to join as well. Since then, this group had expanded to more than 35 designers participating, who enjoyed this exercise, completed and shared with others. I found this idea to train my brain on thinking for more creative ideas and solutions very beneficial as a designer.
